I know these meds are totally unrelated, but they are the 2 I am considering talking to my doctor about. I need something (not on anything right now, besides ativan, which I need to get off of again). My anxiety is getting out of control and I'm having short periods of suicidal depression that are just really throwing me off.

Problem is I also have terrible health anxiety and emetophobia, so it's extremely difficult for me to try a new med. Has anyone had any luck with either of these for anxiety (panic in particular)? Lexapro seems less scary to me (only because I've tried an SSRI before), but Lamictal could help with my migraines and I wouldn't have to argue with my doctors to get it (in fact I think I already have some...).

UGH, I hate this!!
