I am sorry you suffer so.
I can relate. I was taking inventory of my life the other day and felt my life has been a waste. I often see no reason to continue even another day.
I just try to continue taking it a step at a time.
You don't have to look exactly the way you want to look in order to go and enjoy the beach. Go! Have fun!
You will take the weight off when you are ready.
Take the obstacles out of the way. You don't truly have to achieve weight loss before enjoying the beach, for instance. There are no prerequisites to doing what you want to do. Let yourself do them, just as you are!
(I see some beautiful women holding hands with some overweight men, every time I am out and about! These guys are not staying home because they feel overweight, They are enjoying life, just as they are.)
We get down on ourselves as a part of the depression.
Act as if you feel fine with yourself and you feel okay with going out to do them... then follow through. Little "successes" add up and help us to feel more confidant, overall. Life isn't an all or nothing scene. Give yourself leeway to enjoy life. Go and do some of these things.
Fishin' Fool's invite is so generous! I hope you two meet up for some fun!
