The park is segregated into several groups and I know all the rides within my group (5 rides). If the ride breaks down then we tell our group leader or supervisor and they call the mechanic to come and fix it while we tell guests the ride is down for maintenance. One of the rides I operate is a log flume ride that doesn't have restraints and people hop out of the boats about once a week--if that happens we call security to come and escort them out of the park.
