Okay so I don't know if this is the right place for this or not, or if I'm even allowed to do this, but I thought I would try.

I deal with a pretty bad depression and social anxiety, but I just feel terribly lonely because of it since I don't have anyone to talk to outside of the internet. I really want to meet people in my area and have a real friend again, but I'm so afraid. Someone suggested OkCupid to me which I tried, I set it so I was just looking for friends but that has gone nowhere. I've tried asking on other forums I use but no luck there either. My life is in a bad spot so I can't get out to meet people anyway, so my only hope seems to be to meet anyone online that might actually be in my area. I highly doubt I will find anyone here either, but I figured it would be worth a shot. I would also be happy for anyone to chat with at all, even if it's just online.

If there's anyone out there in my area that might be willing to talk please let me know, you can just send me a private message or reply here either is fine. If anyone else would mind just chatting I would be willing to try that too. I can just really use someone to talk to.
