When you are under a lot of stress, you need to step back a bit and be patient. Dying isn't the answer even when one considers that option. And that feeling can present itself in the PTSD struggle, but it comes in waves and goes away and like all the other emotional waves, it can be slowly worked past.
Running out of answers is normal to deep traumatic challenges and working ones way towards acceptance and healing. That is when you have to vent as needed, and also step back too and I cannot say enough how "patience with self" is so important.
