There's a "phobia group" meeting near where I live. It would meet once a week. I've been going there a few years but not very often. I would go for the depression that I have. Others are there for things that they have.
There had been times when I went there that I felt worse after it was over. I wouldn't have said a word the whole time and I wanted to. The biggest problem I had was when the others were talking about things that I couldn't relate to.
I would say to keep going; provided if you have it in your mind that it can be a good thing for you. If after a while it does not go well, then I wouldn't go back.
