The over fishing is mainly by commercial fishing vessels and some
countries like Japan for example kill millions of sharks per year
just for the fins. It is a brutal practice they cut the fins off the live sharks
and dump the body overboard where it sinks and dies. All for shark fin
soup. They waste all the meat just to have the fins. So they kill millions
of sharks per year for absolutely no good reason. Very very sad.
