Do you want a copy for your records (the letters you wrote) or are you asking for them back so they are not in your file? I'm not sure the guidelines in England. I know that my journal is not part of my legal medical file, for now as I had access to it when I was employed at the same location as my T. My T is going to be going into private practice and I don't know how she'll work with my journal there. My guess is that since it hasn't been part of the legal record it still won't; though I should ask.

My T has been willing to share with me any of her notes if I asked; however, if I wanted a printed copy to leave the office with, I would have to request it formally from the release of information group at the clinic.
