Aw man!
So I was running to catch the bus the other day (missed it because I should say it was a light jog rather than a run), and later that day, I felt like I had pulled the muscles in both sides of my groin. I figured I was just out of shape, so I ignored it.
Now, almost 6 days later, the pulled muscles haven't gotten better but rather are worse, and my, um, bones around my pubic area are hurting, too. I stumbled upon a post in my pregnancy support forum, and it appears that this might actually be pregnancy related, and not pulled muscles after all!
Have any of you had this: Symphysis Pubis Dysfunction?
I just read some articles online about it and it seems to be what's going on with me. I have an ultrasound scheduled for Wednesday, but I'm going to call my OB in the morning just in case.
Has anyone had this? What did they do for you? I read that both accupuncture and swimming could be beneficial, and both sound good to me right now.
