<font color="green">[b]Locked Away
Little innocent playing on the floor
Mommy and daddy her whole world
But daddy’s been sick; mommy seems strange.
What’s a little girl to do?
When daddy is gone to work
Is when her world is full of fear?
Where dishtowels bind hands and feet
And mommy hurts her body and soul.
Bruises, scrapes and burns
Seem to magically appear
Daddy wonders about his little girl
When did she become so clumsy?
His doubts become fears
As her nightmare continues
Till he finds mommy hurting her
And takes her away.
Given to strangers
Who use and abuse her
She learns to keep her secrets
Carefully locked away.
