I have never seen a scale such as that among the many scales and quick evaluation techniques , but you brought up a very valid point , these scales don't compare apples to apples ,because ever patient is different in resources and resilience to things , and different places don't always use the same scale , I see my pain management doctor who uses a ten scale ,my PCP office uses a five scale of faces , doesn't make sense especially considering I don't know why my PCP even asks they don't treat pain ! , as a matter of fact my PCP recently changed and I found out the old one had never even noted in my records anything about all the other doctors I see , talk about not a team player, I see 13 other specialists and none of them are in my records.
