Thanks - I talked to my OB's assistant and indeed they dismissed it as round ligament pain that perhaps radiated downward. But, they made an appointment for me anyway for Thursday, the day following my ultrasound.

My OB is terrific and has over 30 years of experience, so I'm hopeful that it's just her assistant who hasn't heard of this. Or maybe I really don't have this SPD thing after all...

It's not excruciating - just annoying because it's making me limp and I just bought new snowshoes to take the place of skiing/snowboarding for this winter, but there is no way I can try them out feeling as I do. Argh!
