You should write a schedule of events. Maybe keep a calendar/journal. You've shared before that you were freaked out about your kids not being home or answering, and it was because they had a half day of school. These aren't little things you're getting worried over, they're major omissions in cognition.
I deal with some of the same stuff while I'm on my meds, so I write down what I have to. Your anxiety is abated once you remember your kids' schedule; a perfect thing to put in a calendar and refer to if you get anxious. No PRN or benzo needed, and you'd be fine.
By the way, I just re-read this and it could be taken the wrong way. Please don't take it to mean I'm calling you stupid or anything, because it's obvious you're an intelligent individual. I'm trying to focus on the memory blank that our meds cause. Like I said, it happens to me and I completely forget where my wife and/or kids are going to be on a given day. I'm so used to being in contact via text that if I don't get a quick response I tend to worry as well. I go to my calendar notes and figure out they may be in an area with no reception or with and talking to friends or at an event. It's a good reality check and memory booster.
