That happened to me a lot with a gf of mine...I thought it was to see if she still had it and if she could get guys over me. It's pretty insulting but if the guy wasn't interested in her they would continue to talk with me which made her upset...she's very attention based and selfish. Luckily for her, I didn't let it bug me because I wasn't looking to pick up anyone from a bar
