On one hand I want to say, "If you feel like it might be mania then it probably is," since I had the same sense of gratitude that was almost spiritual.

On the other hand, every time I feel like having sex, I pounce on it, worrying I'm going manic...and that can make having a regular sex drive kind of, er, hard, lol!

It's really hard to say what's manic and what isn't. Especially in the absence of other symptoms. I think we each have our own triggers and signs. I also think a lot of us are sooo scared of it that we overthink every little possible sign.

So maybe the answer isn't as clear as "yes" or "no." Maybe the truest answer at this point can only be "maybe." Which means you have to watch it.

For your sake, though, I hope it IS your new normal! It sounds lovely!
