DIFFICULTIES

There are two ways of meeting difficulties: You alter the difficulties, or you alter yourself to meet them.

as some of you know, the past few months have been very difficult for me! we lost our house and had to move. For about two months I felt like such a failure! Like I, personally, was letting my family down because I couldnt stop it from happening.
Between crying and being angry at the fact I was losing my house, I was turning into someone I didn't even know much less like! Then one day driving home from work, I started crying and thinking at the same time. And then it hit me! I am not a failure.... this is just a set back and we will be ok! So I decided I had to change my attitude about it!
I couldn't change the fact that I was losing my house, but I could change the way it was effecting me!
I decided I would make it a positive thing! When I finally did that, it was like the anger was gone. Don't get me wrong I am still upset about losing the house, but I have my family! We are all healthy and we are together!

I had to "alter myself to meet my difficulty"! It makes sense!
