I'm also trying to work on deactivating certain buttons so that people who appear to like hurting me dont. Or not as much. Mostly my dear family. There is no button they can push. Its like developing a "teflon" or similar.. coating instead of having skin that is more easily bruised and injured My stepmother was like yours, perna I hate writing people off, thats been one of my biggest stumbling blocks, I have given people who've hurt me too many chances to keep on hurting me What a freakin idiot I was But its about gravitating to what is familiar I suppose. sigh.
