I would love to have input from anyone who has tried it, and whether it worked well or not. I'm not scared to try new things at all, but for some reason I'm a tad spooked by this one. It's hypnosis but it's NOT hypnosis?

It's not hypnosis, it's activating each side of the brain, back and forth while thinking about a memory of the trauma. You do feel drained after doing it. I did it a couple of times then switched therapist, so I really didn't give it a chance, and I wasn't in the right place to do it. I would give it a try again though. Just make sure the person doing it is credentialed , do research on it and see if that person is doing the right procedure. They need to talk to you and make you feel safe first. I really think you would be okay.
