Hey Freewill. . .

Let me ask you this. In a family, is the whole family held accountable for one family member's sin? Jesus said that we must each work out OUR salvation; He never said anything about being held accountable for someone else's.

There are a lot of opinion's here about soul versus the mind and splitting. And it's good information, but in the grand scheme, it really doesn't matter. YOU accepted Christ as your Savior. If you die tomorrow, YOU will be with Him for eternity. Your salvation however, doesn't help your family. It's the same inside. . .at least that's what I believe. That's the way my "system" works. Each part works out their own relationship with Christ, in their own way. Just like I work out my relationship with Him, and I support my husband in his walk, but I can't make choices for him anymore than he can make for me. Likewise, I can't make a "part" do the right thing or do something wrong. I can offer support, guidance, etc.
