I love and relate very much to this poem! Short, simple and to the point.

To the OP, you write beautifully and I very much relate. I used to embrace mania but not so much anymore. When I know I'm in a depressed or elevated mood, I fight against the urges they bring. I don't always win the fight but I get a few punches in here and there. (((Hugs to us all)))
