Hi All,
I've enjoyed reading lately with nothing to post, sorry, I haven't had any wonderful advice for those of you who have needed it.
I am doing pretty well with a few dings, which leads me to a couple of questions.
A little background-for those who don't know me, I've been around for several years, I am a teacher, and when I fall apart it usually leads to having a hard time putting the pieces back together....but right now I am doing okay.
This week I was verbally attacked by a coworker who was in a bad place accusing me of wanting to steal all of her materials. I had done nothing that I am aware of to lead her to come to this conclusion. My reaction was to yell at her-no cussing-and to let her know what I thought of her accusation. Unfortunately my temper also has been my downfall at times, although usually I try to run and hide.
FINALLY my question!!!! Do you find that a different kind of problem(s) tends to seek you out even when you are truly an innocent bystander? If so, do you contribute this to anything? Your demeanor? Past reactions? Your age? The fact that people know of your diagnosis? (In my case, they don't)
I am not well-liked by my boss, her words, so having to deal with an encounter that I did not start has shaken me.
Thanks everyone for your time!
