There are some species called blind fish, a fish without functional eyes. Blind Fish live in dark habitats: cave, deep ocean, or underground. Due to lack of lights, they evolved and lost their sight.



The most popular is Mexican blind fish, pictured above. This species has the surface (with eyes) and cave (no eyes) versions. The Cave ones navigate with wave created with their mouths.
