Hi, Medi-cal is medicaid for California. I am on Medi-cal. For me it covers medical, pharmaceutical, an eye exam, and limited dental services. I don't have a co-pay. When I enrolled in the ACA they slotted me into Medi-cal because I am low income. You can apply through the ACA, or you can apply at your local Health and Human Services office.

The services you receive, co-pay (or none)- it all depends upon your monthly income.
