Haven't checked in for awhile. I was in a pretty deep depression for quite some time. I've now switched into a hypomanic episode. My mind is all over the place, I had a co-worker basically tell me I was like the energizer bunny because I just can't sit still for any length of time it seems. My productivity at work has shot up (which isn't necessarily a bad thing right now). I am a bit weary because I don't recall ever feeling this good, as if I'm in the clouds just floating around as if there isn't a care in the world. Saw my therapist earlier in the week and she thought it may be the start of a hypomanic episode, but wasn't sure since I wasn't exhibiting a lot of symptoms. I then saw my pdoc a few days later and he pretty much confirmed it's a hypomanic episode. He increased my Seroquel so hopefully that will help with my sleep issues. As with all of my episodes, we'll keep a close watch on them in hopes of not making things worse. For now I'll just enjoy the extra burst of energy and just feeling all around happy, which I haven't really felt in at least 2 years.
