Re the addiction - i'm an alcoholic and we're really not supposed to be prescribed benzos, but I was. What I found was that I needed higher and higher doses to get the same calming effect and then I started using it to basically numb myself out, instead of drinking. If you're taking it as prescribed and only using it occassionally - you shouldn't have any problem.
