When I am overwhelmed emotionally, I put on music that feels therapeutic to me or I will take a long walk (in the woods if I can). For me, it seems to release some of the bottled up emotions.

I hope you don't hold on to it too long like last time. Take care of yourself and allow yourself to slow down.
