I am putting this here because even though the SI was unintentional (sort of -- more on that later), I have an urgent question and figure the folks here would know best:
(POSSIBLE TRIGGER, DESCRIPTION OF INJURY)

I stepped on a small drinking glass that I bought at a thrift store. It was (was...sigh) super cute, too. But I left it wrapped up and in a plastic bag.
Somehow it ended up on my bedroom floor, and I stepped on it. I felt that I stepped on something, but I didn't know what, and I just limped around for a couple minutes.
Then, I noticed that it looks like someone was murdered in here.

I am on blood thinners and can bleed 10 minutes from a paper cut, so you can imagine what stepping on glass does.
How do you get blood (lots and lots of it) out of light colored carpet?
I am not a domestic goddess by any stretch, and when I cut purposely, it's on my arms where I can control it!
It's not deep enough to need stitches, but man, am I going to need some serious carpet cleaning.
As for it being accidental -- I'm not sure there are accidents when it comes to SI

. I've been thinking about it lately, just kind of off-handedly, like "eh, haven't done it for awhile, maybe I should." Maybe this took care of it, I dunno.
