No I don't feel shame about my medication "generally" , I use a mom & pop pharmacy around the corner, that I am able to call and just ask them to run my refills, when I used a chain pharmacy and had to punch in each label number through there refill system that made me crazy , my meds are just north of $1750 a month , for 15 different scripts , at least I know my pharmacist won't starve as long as i am alive, my Pharmacist and assistant are some of the best people around they do so much for the community outside of normal hours, everything from delivering meds to helping people take them correctly , my pharmacist is going thru a rough time ,his wife of many years is in the end stage of ALS , So along with running the pharmacy and being a good neighbor, he is her primary care giver , So we give him a lot of support. I am pretty carefull about never letting anyone know when i get my opiates filled ,because his brother runs a pharmacy on the other side of town and has had some serious run ins with armed robbers trying to steal opiates, So I keep mine on the down low and order them at different times so nobody knows they have them in the store , to try and Rob.they have some other customers that are alone and dealing with MI , SO after work when they deliver , they fill there pill boxes so they remember to take them at the right time , because no one else are helping these people so they do things for them to make sure they have what they need and food and stuff because no one else is helping them , So I am fiercely loyal to my pharmacy because I want it to stay around .
