Hey There,

People don't call me a "people pleaser," but I am what you could call a "yes-man". If my supervisor asks me to do something I'll say yes, and do my best to perform to satisfactory levels or above.

Sometimes things bother us. If someone called me a "people pleaser" it wouldn't bother me. But there are some other names they could call me that would trip my anger alarms. We all have our own little quirks and triggers.

I try my best - every day - to ignore people. Most people you meet are dumb and truly don't ever give a second thought to what they say.

My advice: surround yourself with a selective group of close friends/individuals. Only care for what they think and say, and even then only very selectively.

Love yourself first. Get comfortable with yourself. Usually it's something about ourselves we are uncomfortable with that allows people to hurt us.
