I am located in NYC, here a fetish is anything a person needs to do in order to get the sexual act completed... example an ex girlfriend of mine, in order for her to be sexually aroused/ interested, and achieve an orgasm had to be in the same style of outfit, same odors around her and stimulated in the same way every time she had sex.

where as a fantasy is what someone would like to do sexually with another, a daydream, using ones imagination. when this same girlfriend and I were together we could fantasize about all kinds of stuff but what completed the task for her was her fetish.
