If she understood...and I'm sure she did. Then maybe it wasn't JUST you pushing that cause her to have to protect herself the way she did.
She probably didn't give up, she maybe needed a break. Maybe you made her cry, but she chose to stick around long enough to see if she could help and to let you know that she's there.
