YouOme....I was the unfortunate victim of a scam artist who stalked me shortly after I divorced. He was on disability also, and he and his mother used it for gambling and drugs. I actually went onto the Social Security website and reported him. This resulted, I believe, in the removal of his benefits. All I know for sure is that his parole officer said he was madly "shopping for doctors" afterward.
People like this should not receive disability, and I encourage you to report them. Reporting is anonymous and your name will not be mentioned.
