I don't know anything about schema therapy. I say do the best you can for the next 26 sessions and get what you can out of it. Maybe start to prepare yourself for finding another T when these sessions end might be a good idea. I wouldn't worry much about not feeling even a little better in 4 sessions...that's pretty normal I think. I had multiple hospitalizations over a 3 year period and was in therapy the whole time, initially dx'd bipolar the first few months then changed to BPD with a new pdoc.
