Well, I don't know how to go about having a FWB sort of relationship because I've never had a male friend living close enough to me to act one out, as it were. Also, I honestly want to reserve my sexual encounters to guys whom I'm dating, rather than a guyfriend.

Why don't you ask him out on a date? I mean, if that's your style. I know a lot of folks are very tentative about asking a crush out, but since he already knows you have a crush on him, he might be assessing how he feels about you and the next logical step would be to go on a date.

You never know until you actually ask him out, and letting him slip by never knowing would most likely eat you up inside with a plethora of "what ifs". So go for it!
