Stress often makes me sleepy. If I'm in a situation where I can do so, stress naps (as I call them) does me a lot of good. If I'm at work, I just have to be miserable and suffer through it.
Sometimes the stress naps get out of hand if they're too long and/or too frequent, but usually they're good for me.
During one very low time in my life, when I briefly didn't have a job, I would sleep 14-18 hours a day just to escape. My feeling was that that was 14-16 hours closer to death, so it was worth it.
