I wish it were as easy as just being able to 'deal with it' I am unable to let it go!!! If discipline & abuse have merged into one, then they have both been abusive for you. All I can do is to just keep working on it. You are not stupid & yes, it is confusing. None of us asked to be abused, yet we are left with not knowing what is & isn't right in our mess!!
