I am sorry you suffer so.

3 days is a long migraine. Status Migrainous starts at 72 hours and usually needs an intervention in the ER. Be sure your doctor knows about these.

The nature of migraines can change. The headache isn't always present, while other odd things go on, including auras.
Depakote is a very popular drug for migraine prevention. This is how I had first met up with Depakote many, many years ago.

Interestingly, many of the mood-stabilizing anti-epileptic drugs are prescribed as migraine preventatives now.
