I received an invitation to join a social group. I do not mind the invitation but am not interested in joining because the subject matter is not relevant in my life and so I declined. However, every time I return to psych forum, I see that I have a notification and check to see if it is a private message from a friend or something like this and find that it is the same invitation. I had hoped that by declining, the notification would go away but it has been there for a week since I declined. Any suggestions on how to get rid of it?
