I dont think there will be any retaliation. just looking at how the site is comprised. its a normal part of being on psych central.
the boards are all in categories...
for example no one retaliates in the bipolar board when someone older or younger wants to talk about their problems. no one retaliates when people older or younger want to discuss their dissociation problems, no one retaliates because someone older or younger wants to discuss their depression issues.
I have seen posts all over psych central where members have designated they only want to hear from people with this problem or that problem or this age bracket or that one, no one has ever gotten offended or retaliated because of this.
to me it just doesnt make sense to get upset over someone saying ok this post is for those over this age when wanting to discuss sex at age 40, 50, 60.... for one thing people not in menopause are not going to be able to post about having menopause and how hot flashes affect their sex life, I mean i can google and I can answer based on medical/ mental knowledge but Im not menopausal so I have no idea how having a hot flash in the middle of doing the entertainment personally affects a person of that age bracket.
my point its just how I see psych central posts anyway so its normal to me and nothing to get upset and retaliate against someone over 40 wants to talk about sex over 40 things.
