Does anyone else notice they have problems that interact closely with one another? For example, I know I have some problems with social anxiety, self-esteem, self-confidence, and pessimistic thinking. When I work hard on one of them, another one seems to be affected for unknown reasons.

For example, if I work on self-esteem and then have an opportunity to be more social, I feel significantly less shy and tend to open up more, even though I haven't been focused on social anxieties specifically. If I work on self-confidence alone, I get slightly more optimistic and worry just a bit less for a while.

How do you go about getting synergy between these problems? For example, working on ALL of them a little bit, so you get that "spillover" effect? I think this would help me a lot. I just don't quite know how to be more aggressive in tackling all these problems at the same time. I really want to.

I don't currently have a therapist. Cost is an issue at the moment. If you could suggest anything you have found works, it would be greatly appreciated.
