If you feel forced to say how you feel, why not say you feel forced?
Sometimes when people are cut off from their own feelings, or have numbed themselves to avoid facing painful matters, it can be useful for the therapist to point that out.
But you should totally discuss this feeling you have, of being forced, with your therapist. Why not! Your therapist wants to talk about feelings, right? So how does this feeling "forced" make you feel towards your therapist? Why do you think he or she is doing this? Does it remind you of anything else in your life. All of those discussions are excellent therapy material!
