After my car accident they gave me amytripiline (however you spell it!) and it gave me violent nightmares. They gave it to me to calm me because I as so injured. I've never taken it again because of the nightmares. If you are experiencing nightmares on any drug tell your Dr. ASAP. Sometimes they can be dangerous. Take Care
