My therapist cancelled on me at the last minute due to illness and didn't try and reschedule me for later in the week. Basically, we are just skipping a week. I thought I was ok with it but I'm pretty angry and upset. There is definitely a transference component going on here and I can appreciate that. My worry is how dependent I am on her and what to do to help myself. Has anyone gone from once a week sessions to every other week? Did this help or make the dependency worse?
I have c-ptsd and this will be long term psychodynamic therapy.
