ok i got an english assignment and i have complete writers block..and i need to do a poem.

so i was just going to use one of my older ones that they wont know is old.

but.......i dont know which one to use ><

help??

1.

you'd think of me a madman
a frustrated, wasted youth
a hollow, heartless actress
and all of these are truth

a rage that kills all honour
all conciosness
and love
is directed at none other
than this crow that was a dove

its only me.

OR

2.

shattered hearts make shattered minds
a chilling spirit your cold hand finds

take it now
im done with you
for all the pain you put me through

but first give me what i deserve
a cry of pain from every nerve

haunting shadows; fateful bliss
all thats in here sums up as this:

disturbed in an understatement

Don’t think you know confusion
You’ve barely had a day
When dreams and your reality
Would leave you in dismay

A note in cryptic symbols
Leads down into my soul
Can you steady you mind’s trembles?
Can you take the deathly cold?

then rained upon from lofty skies
a soul ‘twas drenched in thousand lies
artificial inspiration
to brainwash an entire nation

“to war!” say we, “in God we trust
he’ll not let us perish to dust!
then slaughter those who stand firm before you
believe not what the orphans go through

“justice’s price is heavy aye
a cost be paid in crimson dye”

how many more to fall in pain?
have you no soul? have you no shame?
