Being so new to all of this I can see both sides.. (please don't slam me!) I have been reasently diagnosed with Adult ADD, It has put me onto a roller coaster of feelings. I guess now they want to talk about depression.. I am not on any meds yet.. This talking to anyone about my problems is all so new. All my life I new something wasn't right.. now I know!

Walking thru life with blinders on it is easy to put blame on others behavior and push it off on the child and the parents!

Until today .. sadly.. I thought my son was "Lazy" when it came to spelling and writing! We have Yelled, pushed and fussed over it. TODAY, after I have a long talk with him and he says he feels like "Spelling Pressures Him" and he "just blanks out" I wonder if it is ADD as well. I feel like I was failing him as a parent!

Sometimes it takes people to look out from under the rock than from on top of it to see the light.

Please don't go out and buy the rock for them for a xmas present..LOL Just give them the right equipment to see it! It took me 31 years before I saw what was happening in my own life.

I feel for you sweetie! Its such a hard time of year anyway!!!
