Well I wish that was just it! He is in 5th grade and brought home a xmas present for us. A Calendar. Somehow every month had something spelled wrong! It was in pencil and we corrected (in a productive manner) before dad saw it. Halloween, Showers Thanksgiving, even Christmas.. It was like the teacher didn't even check it! He said he was "rushed". (covering up) This teacher he has lets them have a journal, I think it is a wonderful idea to put their thoughts on paper. So many words have letters misplaced or not even there! He doesn't take the time to think! Simple words my 6 year old knows. Until this week I thought he was lazy and just hurried to fast in his work.. NOW I feel it is more. Maybe he is more like his mom then I want him to be...LOL
