hi sing... i cant remember too well my childhood anymore, either blanked it out or dont want to remember most of it... what you've said brings back memories of timing dates with friends and trying to maintain a decent grade, all while not disappointing parents...
teen years are probably the toughest of all.. hard to stay course with so many alternatives, but, you're doing well.. going to appointments, combined with babysitting, schoolwork...
your mom is busy too i'd imagine... i bet few of us had ideal child lives... at least your mother and you can communicate even if its not always the way you'd like..
nothing may ever be just the way we want... looking back, i never was satisfied... always something i missed, wanted, had to work towards...
it was disappointing when i discovered that i had to work to get my stuff.. what the heck was that? as a child id been card for and why did i all of a sudden have to di stuff??????
enjoy whatever good moments you have... they will be treasures when you look back to 'the good old days' ..
teens now are probably under more pressure than 20 years ago or so.. different world, different pressures...
im amazed how smart some of the teens i meet are, how kind and considerate many of them are.. you are a good example of one such person..
keep trying, keep working, ok? it will pay 100 fold in return..
i know you hear this from others.. but i guess i havent got anything new to say.. just hope it helps keep you going a little bit knowing that im cheering for you...
