When things change from your usual it is good to get checked out. When I started having specific, intense visual hallucinations once my pdoc told me to go to the ER because she thought it was neurological. My lithium level was sky high and when they got it down the hallucinations went away. Thinking back I'd had symptoms of high lithium for weeks but hadn't really noticed until they were questioning me in the ER and I realized how often I was saying "no, well, yes.........".
