I'm so sorry to hear about Buster... Gee you are sure having trouble catching a break here aren't you

And as for your family... maybe they just wanted to delay telling you because of everything else that has happened? They knew how close you were with him, and wanted to try and let everything else settle a little more before telling you?

Either way though, I know how frustrating it can be to not have your family keep you in the loop, especially with important things like this.
