It's very normal. Luckily, if you decide to start college in one area of study, it really isn't that hard to change majors. Or, if you want, you can wait a year before you go and work for awhile instead. As someone already mentioned, your guidance counselor should be able to help you find a area of study too.

Spend some time doing some research. Look at what you think might be interesting, but also look at what the projections for occupation growth are too.
